Congratulations to the Bethpage High School Orchestra, which received the highest honors for its level at the NYSSMA Major Ensembles Evaluation Festival.
Held at Hofstra University on May 19, the annual spring festival brings together school music groups – bands, orchestras, and choirs – to perform before a panel of adjudicators who offer feedback and standardized ratings. Bethpage's orchestra earned a Gold with Distinction rating, the highest designation for Level 5 ensembles.
