Congratulations to Bethpage High School senior Ava Morgan, who has been awarded The Renaissance Scholarship from the North Shore Long Island Chapter of UNICO National.
Ava is a trilingual world languages student and a member of both the Spanish and Italian honor societies. She spoke at this year’s World Languages Honor Societies’ induction ceremony on the transformative power of multilingualism. This fall, Ava plans to attend the honors college at the University of South Carolina and major in International Business.
UNICO is the largest Italian American service organization in the United States and supports charitable, educational, cultural and civic programs.
