Congratulations to John F. Kennedy Middle School 8th grader Giuliana Bologna, who has earned both a Music Merit Scholarship and the Conductor's Choice Award from Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts.
Giuliana was recommended for the Conductor's Choice Award by JFK chorus teacher Michelle Cooper. The honor covers a portion of her summer tuition. She earned the Music Merit Scholarship after an audition that showcased her talent and dedication. The scholarship covers 25% of the camp's tuition.
Founded in 1968, Usdan offers a curriculum rich in arts programs, including music, visual art, dance, creative writing and theater. Notable alumni include Natalie Portman, Kate McKinnon and Mariah Carey.
