Bethpage Schools' Extended School Year (ESY) program continues to be filled with excitement, learning, and unforgettable summer experiences! Students have enjoyed a fantastic field trip to Monster Mini Golf, daily pool adventures, fun in the sun during lunch in the courtyard, engaging classroom activities, and relaxing yoga sessions with Mrs. Linzer. We have also been thrilled to welcome back our favorite therapy dog, Oakley, and Mrs. Conklin, whose visits always bring smiles, comfort, and plenty of tail wags.
Our older students have been busy developing valuable vocational and life skills by tending to our school garden and preparing delicious treats and refreshing beverages for Eagle's Perk. Open to the Bethpage community every Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. outside the front entrance of Bethpage High School, Eagle's Perk gives students the opportunity to practice customer service, teamwork, food preparation, and workplace skills while proudly serving members of our community.
With so many opportunities to learn, grow, and make lasting memories, ESY has truly become the highlight of the summer, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!
