Bethpage Union Free School District is pleased to announce that Bethpage High School has been named a 2025-26 School of Distinction by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA).
The prestigious recognition honors high schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence among their student-athletes. To qualify, 100% of a school’s varsity teams must earn Scholar-Athlete Team status. A team earns this designation when the average grade point average of the top 75% of its roster is at least 90%.
The district congratulates Bethpage High School’s student-athletes, coaches and staff on this achievement and celebrates their continued dedication to excellence both in the classroom and on the playing field.
