Bethpage High School proudly announces that four music students have earned All-State selection for the 2026 NYSSMA All-State Music Conference in Rochester this December.
Senior Grace Cho was selected to perform with the All-State String Orchestra on violin. Matthew An, Kayla Cusumano and Vincent Wilbur were named as alternates.
NYSSMA All-State selection is one of the highest honors available to New York high school musicians. Each spring, thousands of sophomores and juniors from public and private schools across the state audition through rigorous Level VI solo evaluations. Students are evaluated on areas including pitch, tone, sight-reading and technique. Only students receiving scores of 98-100 are eligible for recommendation to the All-State ensembles.
Bethpage congratulates these students and extends appreciation to the dedicated music faculty – Director of Fine and Performing Arts Mr. Brent Chiarello, orchestra teacher Dr. Eric Kay, and band teacher Ms. Kristen Warnokowski – for guiding and inspiring them to achieve this distinction.
