AP Physics 2 students were challenged to design boats out of cardboard and masking tape to compete in the First Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta! Students had to calculate the maximum buoyant force exerted on their boats based on the predicted volume. Each group was required to have at least one student sit and paddle the boat across the pool.

The Regal Eagles have kicked off their first installment of their "Engineers Helping Engineers" program by visiting Grade 5 students at Central Boulevard. The Regal Eagles prepared a STEM lesson and activity for the students and spoke of STEM opportunities available at JFK & BHS.
