We are thrilled that Mr. Ryan Catterson has been nominated as Bethpage Schools 2023 Bright Light Award recipient for his effort to integrate technology to support teaching and learning. Congratulations, Mr. Catterson! 🖥️💡


Twenty-seven students from JFK Middle School competed in a school-wide spelling bee. Anthony Miranda placed third, Karanpreet Singh placed second and Zachary Kontorinis was crowned the winner. Zachary and Karanpreet will now compete at the regional level. Congratulations to all! 



Bethpage High School recently hosted its first Science Research Alumni Panel. Current science research and AP research students were invited to the event where they received tips and advice from science research alumni. It was a great way to connect the community!

Students recently took part in the district’s 7th annual Hour of Code event! All students in grades 3-5 participated in their classrooms with the help of some special guests over a live broadcast. They completed exercises and coded their own Minecraft game.

Mr. Choi, Mr. Spence and I are preparing for our 7th Annual Hour of Code broadcast from the BHS TV Studio. We have some extra help from our Regal Eagles and IT teams. We will see all of our 3-5 graders Thursday.

The Regal Eagles gave their new Shapeoko CNC Router a test drive by creating a name plate for Mr. Schneider's office door in a show of appreciation.
