
Kramer Lane third graders engaged in the full-day workshop, “Let’s Go to China,” on Feb. 7. Facilitated by award-winning singer-songwriter Patricia Shih and her partner Wendy Weng, students participated in interactive lessons and activities throughout the school day which focused on China’s history, geography and culture. #WeAreBethpage

On Thursday, February 8, 2024, participating students from the BHS Orchestra & Chorus ventured into Manhattan to catch "Hamilton" at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Students also visited Times Square beforehand. Thanks to Dr. Kay for organizing the trip & Ms. Kovacs for chaperoning.

Students from Central Boulevard Elementary School participated in Nassau County’s annual Valentines for Veterans program! The school takes part in this program each year leading up to Valentine’s Day to give back to veterans in hospitals and nursing homes. #WeAreBethpage

Mental Health and Wellness presentation at tonight's Board of Education meeting by Mr Kenny, Director of Guidance and 5 of our BHS students. Our students presented on our new program Sources of Strength. Very proud to showcase what we do to cultivate a culture of care.





Central Boulevard, Charles Campagne and Kramer Lane students in the district's Argonaut Program recently visited the Cold Spring Harbor DNA Learning Center. During this exciting trip, the students extracted wheat germ DNA and looked at the genetic mutations of fruit flies. In addition, the students learned about Otzi, the 5300-year-old mummy that was found in the Tyrolean Alps. It was a great experience!








Twenty-nine students from JFK Middle School took the stage this week in a schoolwide spelling bee. Congratulations to first place winner Elaina Gardikas and runner up Connor Cavalieri! These star spellers are one step closer to the national spelling bee stage! #WeAreBethpage


Bethpage Schools hosted their 8th Annual Hour of Code Event. The live broadcast was hosted by Mr. Schneider & Mrs. Inghilterra & allowed students in Grades 3-5 to solve coding challenges. Mr. Choi, Arsh Singh (Gr 12) & Miraj Shah (Gr 12) aided students by answering questions.





Central Boulevard Elementary School students got a visit from Samar Singh (Bethpage High School Class of 2022) to learn about engineering and STEM and participate in a STEM challenge. Special thanks to Ms. Robb, Samar's Grade 5 teacher in 2014-15 for organizing the event.

Yesterday, Central Boulevard students kicked off Nutrition Week with the help of Brian Richards and his assembly program, The Magic of 5-A-Day! Through magic tricks and comedy, the students learned about the importance of a balanced diet which includes five servings of fruits and vegetables each day. They also learned about how the colors of fruits and vegetables benefit different parts of the body and how to know the difference between “sometimes food” and “all-the-time food.”

A gingerbread baby got loose at Kramer Lane today! Kindergarten students were on the case as they searched the building for clues and found him. They then enjoyed making their own gingerbread cookies with the help of some special guests! #WeAreBethpage

In celebration of the holiday season, students and staff at Central Boulevard Elementary School participated in a friendly door decorating competition with the theme “Light Up the Hallways with Kindness.” Students and staff were challenged to decorate their classroom door/entry area in creative holiday or winter fashion while keeping with the theme of kindness. Amazing job to all those who participated and congratulations to the winners!
