During last week's board of education meeting, Chris Pollatos, Director of Science K-12, presented on the district's K-12 science program. He provided some insight on the incredible work that teachers and students are doing within the science department. Bethpage High School science research students Sofia Maciel-Seidman and Joy Kim, and 2018 graduate Evanna Plakas, shared their own positive experiences within the research program. Evanna also spoke about how her passion for science led her to her current role as a quality engineer. It was a great presentation! #WeAreBethpage
