BHS at the annual Newsday Marching Band Festival!

Kramer Lane students celebrated the success of their recent PTA sponsored fundraiser with Boosterthon. Winning classes were treated to a teacher duct tape challenge and the top class sliming Mrs. McCarthy in front of the entire school. It was an extremely successful fundraiser thanks to the students, families and friends of Kramer Lane. Thank you all!




Kramer Lane kindergarten and third grade students welcomed former News 12 meteorologist Samantha Augeri to school for a wonderful weather assembly reinforcing their weather science units of study in school. A terrific time was had by all. Thank you Mrs. Augeri!

CBS celebrates Unity Day as a school thinking about ways we can always be kind, inclusive and caring always!



Fifth graders at Kramer Lane enjoyed a beautiful and educational field trip to the Riverhead Aquarium today. This trip reinforced their understanding of ecosystems, habitats, and food chains. A wonderful day was had by all!




JFK Spirit Week was a hit!
On Friday, October 17th, JFK Student Council/Builder's Club hosted the annual Halloween Spooktacular. With over 250 students in attendance all had a great time dancing, eating and playing games! JFK Staff chaperones also showed their Halloween spirit by dressing up as TV characters.

CBS would like to thank the Bethpage Fire Department Ladder Co. 3 for visiting our school and teaching our students all about fire safety! Our kindergartners especially loved the chance to see the firetrucks up close!









Fun teacher training day with our LEGO Spike Essential and Prime kits! Thank you to Tami Frailey from LEGO Education who trained our Grade 3-6 teachers with using these these kits in our Elementary STEM labs and First LEGO League Robotics.




BHS's first EMT course is a hit! Students are learning life-saving skills from the amazing instructors at the Nassau County EMS Academy.



Fifth graders enjoyed learning about our marine ecosystems and how pollutants effect the marine life and waterways of Long Island. A wonderful day was had by all!




Third grade students at Kramer Lane enjoyed their trip to Safety Town where they learned the rules of the roadway. A great time was had by all!



Our 8th Grade Gold team had an awesome time visiting the Vanderbilt Planetarium and Museum bringing real-life experiences to what they are learning this year in Social Studies and Science.

I had a great time giving the Class of 1975 a tour of BHS today. They were thrilled to hear that Golden Eagle pride is stronger than ever!

Freshman bake sale is packed today!

Congratulations to our Central Boulevard raffle winners for completing their summer math packets. Thank you to the CBS PTA for donating the prizes to our lucky winners. Great job!
